ABOUT SEAN MAGEE

Seán began aged 7 playing traditional Irish music in school and took Fiddle lessons with Irish legend Pat McManus.

Following in his father’s musical footsteps, Sean started joining him on stage in bars & venues around Ireland. A few years later they were joined by Jamie on Button Accordion & Eli-Rose with her amazing vocals, here The Magee Family Band were formed

 

 

At 14 years old Seán won 1st place at The All Ireland Fleadh competition playing fiddle in the under 15 category, which is still a massive claim to fame.

 

In recent years Seán has been gigging solo along with his Guitar, fiddle, whistles and Loop pedal. Traveling all over for gigs in Ireland, the UK, Germany, Spain, Dubai, USA to name a few.

 

Sean has grown to be a well established solo musician and performer, playing a wide range of music and instruments on stage, to keep the crowd dancing all night long

 

With a following of over 110k on Social’s, Instagram and Tiktok has become a big part of advertising gig dates and new music, making it easier to connect with fans and new venues.

He hopes to grow his following and experience in the coming years, doing what he loves, releasing songs just like his number 1 Single ‘Tipping it up to Nancy’ which has hit over 1 million listens on Spotify and over 550k views on this music video on Youtube!
